IDAC's overhaul in motion after Adv Johnson quits

The Investigating Directorate Against Corruption could have a new acting head as early as next week.

This while, the Chief Investigator at IDAC, Dylan Perumal together with two other employees Suneel Bellochun and Brian Padayachee have been suspended.

This follows the resignation of the body's head, Advocate Andrea Johnson, who was grilled at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry over a number of questionable decisions including allegations that she used the IDAC to target certain high ranking police officers, including suspended National Police Commissioner General Fannie Masemola.
