Northern Territory Police believe a five year old girl was abducted from her home at a Town Camp near Alice Springs early Sunday morning.
Sharon was reported missing by her family in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police have confirmed they are trying to find a 47-year-old man, Jefferson Lewis, who was recently released from prison.
"We can confirm that he is believed to have been in the area around that time and staying at the residence," Acting Commander Mark Grieve said.
