The story investigates a series of allegations levelled against a lecturer at King Sabata Dalindyebo TVET College in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape.

Among the allegations is that the lecturer allegedly sold diploma certificates to students who had only completed their N6 qualification and had not yet completed the mandatory 18-month in-service training required to obtain their diplomas.

The lecturer is also alleged to have assisted students to pass examinations without attending classes, with students allegedly paying approximately R4,000 per module for this service.
