Women's Month | Zanele Mbeki’s legacy honoured at Nelson Mandela University Women’s Colloquium

The Nelson Mandela University is honouring the legacy of former First Lady Zanele Mbeki and her decades of work supporting women's economic empowerment.

The university's Centre for Women and Gender Studies hosted the "Banking on Women" colloquium in Gqeberha during Women's Month.

It marks 35 years of the Women's Development Bank Trust, founded by Mbeki, to support women excluded from economic opportunities, particularly in rural communities.
