Lifeguard rescues young boy from powerful waves

A lifeguard, reportedly a teenager himself, rescued a young boy in California, US, and guided him back to shore as powerful waves repeatedly knocked them over and pulled them toward the ocean.

The boy was not seriously injured and was reunited with his parents, according to a California State Parks spokesperson.
