Students complain about unpaid NSFAS allowances

Deputy Higher Education and Training Minister Yusuf Cassim has paid an oversight visit to the Western TVET college in Krugersdorp, following student complaints of unpaid NSFAS allowances.

They say some have some have subsequently been evicted due to the non payment of student accommodation providers.

Students have urged NSFAS to allocate officials on the ground to assist those left stranded.
