Madlanga Commission | Commission suggests Masemola arrest was to 'taint him, remove him from office'

The Madlanga Commission has suggested that the arrest of top cop, General Fannie Masemola in the Medicare24 fraud case was to 'taint him', and feeds into the narrative that IDAC was allegedly targeting Generals to have them removed.

This as a pattern persists in the IDAC evidence showing that cases were pursued against Lt-General Dumisani Khumalo, and General Fannie Masemola, with no legal basis.

The charging of Masemola for contravening the PFMA is one such instance.
