Bordeaux wildfire battle continues amid extreme heat

Firefighters are on high alert in France as scorching temperatures and winds threaten to fuel a wildfire west of Bordeaux. The blaze has burned 42,000 hectares (103,000 acres) and prompted 220,000 evacuations. Residents have joined efforts to extinguish lingering hotspots.
