The alleged hitman, in the attempted murder trial of Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala and four others, insists that he never opened his gate for police to enter, and search his home.
Musa Kekana is fighting to prevent the evidence obtained during his 2024 arrest, from being used in court. He argues that police acted unlawfully on the day.
Kekana is on trial in the High Court in Johannesburg, together with Matlala, Tiego Mabusela, Nthabiseng Nzama and Tsakani Matlala.
This is in connection with the attempted murder of businessman, Joe Sibanyoni, music producer, Seunkie Mokubung, and Matlala's former partner, Tebogo Thobejane.
The court is hearing a trial-within-a-trial after Kekana accused police of arresting him, and searching his home, unlawfully.
