South Africa marks Freedom Day on 27 April to commemorate the nation's first democratic elections in 1994. In this dual interview, as part of this commemorating this day, a new movie called 'Its Lit' will premier, depicting how young South Africans are navigating life, reflecting also on what it means to be young in SA today. The movie responds to and visualises the words of the poem by Lesoana Makotoko, who also appears in the movie.
