N West farmers struggle after heavy rains

Heavy rains across parts of the North West are presenting challenges for some farmers. While rain is crucial in agriculture, the recent excessive downpours threaten bean producers' harvests by waterlogging fields. Bean growers say the rains arrived late this year, just as harvesting approaches, reducing crop quality and placing a significant financial strain on producers.
