Mitchells Plain launches crime targeting programme

The Mitchells Plain Safety & Development Forum in Cape Town has launched one of the first "Safe Zones" in the area.

It is aimed at addressing crime in communities and providing opportunities to the youth.

The area has a high crime rate and is plagued by gang violence, and drug related crime.
