#WATCH | We have the second-largest seafaring community. Many Indian seafarers serve on Indian vessels, while many others are employed on foreign vessels. As for the exact number of Indian seafarers serving on ships in and around the Black Sea, I do not have that figure with me at present. However, I can provide an update regarding Indian seafarers in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz region. There are six Indian vessels west of the Strait of Hormuz, in the Persian Gulf, with 125 Indian seafarers on board. In addition, 41 Indian seafarers are serving on foreign vessels in the region.
