Youth Day | AZAPO marks 50th anniversary of the June 16, 1976 uprising

The Azanian People's Organisation (AZAPO) is hosting the 50th anniversary of the June 16, 1976 uprising commemoration in two parts.

A wreath laying ceremony at the graves of the leaders of the Soweto Uprisings, Tsietsi Mashinini and Khotso Seatlholo at the Avalon cemetery, and then joining the anniversary commemoration at the Pimville Community Centre in Soweto.
