Taxi operators and owners in Mbombela unhappy with the Aarto implementation

Taxi operators in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, have expressed dissatisfaction with the implementation of the Road Traffic Offences Act (AARTO).

It came into effect in eight municipalities in the province last month.

Nationwide 62 municipalities have been included in the second phase of the rollout, which aims to reduce accidents on the roads.
