DA members gather outside of the Pretoria High Court ahead of a legal battle against the City Of Tshwane’s decision to reinstate the municipality’s Group Chief Financial Officer, Gareth Mnisi and the suspension of City Manager, Johann Mettler.

The High Court is expected to hear arguments into the Democratic Alliance, the DA’s urgent application into the Tshwane Council decision to reinstate the Mnisi and the suspension of Mettler.

The party wants the court to review and set aside what they call the unlawful Council resolutions that took place earlier this month.

The DA will also brief the media outside the Pretoria High Court on the 13 DA votes that’s at the centre of the court battle.
