GDE 2027 online school applications for Grades 1 & 8 open on August 5

The Gauteng Department of Education (GDE) has announced that online admissions for Grade 1 and Grade 8 learners will open from 5 August to 4 September this year.

Parents and guardians will be able to apply for placement for the 2027 academic year.

Gauteng Education MEC Lebogang Maile says the department is committed to ensuring a fair and transparent admissions and placement process.
