Intra-African Trade tops agenda at SADC Industrialisation Week

Southern African countries have being urged to accelerate regional industrialisation to unlock long-overdue economic growth across the continent.

​Opening the 9th Annual SADC Industrialisation Week at the Durban ICC, South Africa's Minister of Trade, Industry, and Competition, Parks Tau, highlighted the urgent need to boost intra-African trade and industrialisation.

​Business leaders, ministers, and regional delegates have gathered for the five-day summit to drive local manufacturing, job creation, and cross-border value chains.
