Infographic: IMC Progress Report on the Five-Point Migration Plan

The Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) on Migration, chaired by Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi, provided a comprehensive progress update on the Five-Point Migration Plan originally announced by President Cyril Ramaphosa on 7 June 2026

The update highlights that the implementation is yielding tangible progress, particularly noting a decline in migration surges that has allowed the state to scale down operations at the Musina Temporary Repatriation Processing Centre (TRPC) from a 20,000 capacity to 1,500 capacity.
