POLISH WOMAN KILLED IN BERLIN PRIDE ATTACK

Police shot dead the suspect of the car-ramming attack on Berlin’s Pride march, ending a 24-hour manhunt. Abdul Ballout, a German citizen with Lebanese roots, was killed on Sunday after he charged at officers with a bladed weapon. The attacker’s only fatal victim is a Polish woman.

IRAN–UKRAINE TENSIONS ESCALATE

On Monday, Tehran threatened “unforeseen consequences” for Ukraine for its strike on an Iranian vessel in the Caspian Sea over the weekend. After reporting casualties, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said the attack was an” illegal and unjustified act,” but Ukrainian President Zelenskyy said the long-range strikes were carried out against vessels transporting military cargo linked to Iran.

WILL PUTIN ANNOUNCE ANOTHER MOBILIZATION?

Volodymyr Zelenskyy warns that Vladmir Putin is planning another mobilization as Russian battlefield losses exceed the number of new recruits. Additionally, the Ukrainian President says Russia is set to deploy some 30 thousand North Korean soldiers to the frontline.
