Kim Jong Un and daughter mark 73rd anniversary of Korean War armistice

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visited memorials honouring veterans of the Korean War as the country marked the 73rd anniversary of the armistice.

He was accompanied by his daughter, Kim Ju Ae, and his wife, Ri Sol Ju, as they paid tribute to fallen soldiers at various cemeteries.

North Korea marks Jul 27 as Victory Day, commemorating what it considers a victory over US-led forces in the 1950-53 Korean War. The war ended in an armistice, not a peace treaty, leaving North Korea technically still at war with the US and South Korea. #northkorea #koreanwar
