South Africa-Germany strengthen bilateral ties

German Foreign Minister Dr Johann Wadephul says Berlin is committed to strengthening its longstanding partnership with South Africa.

Wadephul made the remarks after holding bilateral talks with International Relations and Cooperation Minister Ronald Lamola in Pretoria.

Germany is one of South Africa's largest trading partners, with more than 600 German companies operating in the country and supporting thousands of local jobs through investment and manufacturing.
