Ramaphosa accedes to Johnson’s resignation

President has accepted the request from IDAC head Andrea Johnson to be removed from office.
This is after Johnson wrote to the President and the National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP), Advocate Andy Mothibi, seeking an immediate release from office, citing “unprecedented attacks on both her person & official capacity”.
Johnson is under scrutiny following her appearance at the Madlanga Commission, which produced several concessions, contradictions & withdrawals in IDAC’s handling of the fraud and corruption case against Lt-General Dumisani Khumalo, Brigadier Dineo Mokwele & others.
