LGE 2026 | Proxy battle between EFF and ANC in Limpopo

Thohoyandou in Limpopo's far north turned into a proxy battle between dominant political players, namely the EFF and the ANC yesterday.

The red berets were dressed in red regalia, and some kilometres in Sibasa, the black, green and gold descended onto Makwarela stadium in a show of counterforce, clearly drawing the battlelines of what could be anticipated come the November Local Government Elections.
