Mombasa family appeals for Ksh 1.5 million for son’s treatment

A family from Mombasa County is appealing to well-wishers to help raise 1.5 million shillings to enable their 13 year old son undergo life changing treatment after a brutal assault at school left him with permanent hearing loss and severe neurological complications. The family says the attack, which occurred three years ago marked the beginning of a painful medical journey that has forced them to make costly trips to Nairobi in search of specialized treatment.
