Tripura के South Tripura से जुड़े कारीगर Pradip Chakraborty पारंपरिक Bamboo Craft को आधुनिक तकनीक के साथ जोड़कर नई पहचान दे रहे हैं। उनका उद्यम आज लगभग 150 तरह के Bamboo Products तैयार करता है, जिनमें बैग, फाइल कवर, ज्वेलरी बॉक्स और कई उपयोगी वस्तुएं शामिल हैं।

Pradip Chakraborty बताते हैं कि पहले वे सभी उत्पाद हाथों से बनाते थे, लेकिन अब मशीनों के इस्तेमाल से उत्पादन क्षमता और गुणवत्ता दोनों में बड़ा सुधार आया है। इससे उनके साथ काम करने वाले लोगों को नियमित मासिक आय भी मिल रही है।

आज उनके Bamboo Products Tripura के स्थानीय बाजारों के अलावा Kerala, Assam, Bangalore, Delhi और Jabalpur जैसे कई शहरों तक पहुंच रहे हैं। यह पहल पूर्वोत्तर भारत में Technology, Innovation और Sustainable Entrepreneurship का प्रेरणादायक उदाहरण बन रही है।
