Mpumalanga labour inspection blitz nets 18 undocumented migrants

Police in Mpumalanga have detained 18 Mozambican nationals working illegally at a farm in Nkomazi.

The workers were taken in during the Department of Employment and Labour inspection at the farm.

The farm employs more than 1000 employees, including almost 200 Mozambican nationals.

The Department of Home Affairs says it will verify the status of the 18 employees.
