Five months into America's war against Iran, US service members have been killed and the Pentagon has spent $37.5bn and now the defense secretary is asking Congress for $67bn more.
The Pentagon is already reportedly cutting training and maintenance to free up cash. And this week, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives voted to stop the war without congressional approval.
