* Public Interest SA has lodged a complaint with the Legal Practice Council, arguing that IDAC Head, Adv Andrea Johnson is not fit to continue practising as a legal practitioner. While during another tough day at the Madlanga Commission, Adv Johnson conceded that her statement was incorrect about Brigadier Dineo Mokwele being unqualified for the position she was appointed to.

* All eyes will be on the Western Cape High Court tomorrow, when it hands down judgment on President Cyril Ramaphosa's urgent bid to halt the work of the Impeachment Committee. The President wants the process stopped pending the review of the section 89 Independent Panel report.

* State witness, Bethwell Cele, has told the High Court in Johannesburg that businessman, Joe Sibanyoni, refused to be transported in an ambulance after being shot at a Centurion Golf Estate. Cele has been testifying in the attempted murder trial of Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala, and four others

The South African Reserve Bank is keeping the repo rate unchanged at 7%, with the prime lending rate remains 10-point-5%.
The move follows yesterday's news that inflation rose to 5-percent in June.
