‘This is business’: U.S. trade rep on Trump’s tariffs against Canada

U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer was on Capitol Hill July 22 to testify as part of a senate hearing on the United States’ policy to levy tariffs against countries, including its allies.

He faced questions on why U.S. President Donald Trump plans to hit Canada with 50 per cent tariffs on goods covered under CUSMA by senators and reporters both in and outside the hearing room.
