Hegseth faces heat applying for more war funding | DW News

US senators have criticized Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth over his Iran war strategy, as the Pentagon chief made an appeal for some $87 billion in further funding at a committee hearing.
This comes as the US launched strikes on Iran for the 11th consecutive night, with President Trump threatening to attack the country’s underground nuclear facilities.
