PM Wong announces Singapore Cabinet reshuffle | Full news conference

Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong announced several Cabinet changes on Wednesday (Jul 22), including the promotion of Jeffrey Siow, David Neo and Sim Ann to ministers, and the appointment of Minister K Shanmugam as Senior Minister.

Labour chief Ng Chee Meng will be made Minister in the Prime Minister's Office.

Manpower Minister Tan See Leng will take on a new portfolio of Trade and Industry and the Ministry of Trade and Industry will be renamed Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry (METI).

During the news conference, PM Wong also addressed the resignation of Associate Professor Faishal Ibrahim as Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs.
