Witness in Vusimuzi Matlala trial recounts chaotic Centurion Golf Estate gunfight

The state's witness in the case against Vusimuzi Matlala and four others, says the scene at the Centurion Golf Estate, where businessman Joe Sibanyoni was shot at, looked and felt like a fight scene.

Matlala and four co-accused are on trial at the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg, for allegedly conspiring and attempting to kill Sibanyoni, music producer, Seunkie Mokubung, and socialite, Tebogo Thobejane.

The witness, a security guard at the estate at the time, says he had to fire 15 rounds to protect himself against the unknown gunmen.
