WC Education | No word yet on new Education MEC

There is still no clarity when a new MEC for Eductaion will be appointed in the Western Cape. This comes after David Maynier took up a national cabinet position as Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment at the start of July.

The move came after the DA replaced former Agriculture Minister, John Steenhuisen, in the GNU Cabinet.

Meanwhile, education officials say the third term has kicked off smoothly in the province.
