Health Union Caucus demanding absorption of UHC staff to P&P terms

A section of health workers has announced a nationwide industrial action accusing the Council of Governors of ignoring their grievances and failing to honour their commitment to absorb the 7,450 Universal Health Coverage workers to permanent and pensionable terms. The Health Union Caucus says it has withdrawn 60% of its services in public health facilities, urging Kenyans to seek alternative medical services.
