DA proposes legislation to depoliticise PIC

The DA says it will table a private members bill to Parliament, called the Pension Protection Bill, with the aim to a-politicise, the board of the Public Investment Corporation.
This, as the latest governance crisis at the corporation has been triggered by the precautionary suspension of Chief Executive Officer Patrick Dlamini.
Other recent resignations at the corporation include the board representative for the Public Servants Association, Matimba Shiburi and two non executive directors Thabi Nkosi and Nosiphiwo Balfour.
