Matlala and co-accused plead not guilty to all 25 charges

Alleged criminal mastermind Vusimuzi 'Cat' Matlala and his four co-accused have pleaded not guilty to all 25 charges, as their trial got under way in the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg.

The charges stem from three alleged assassination attempts targeting Matlala's former girlfriend, Tebogo Thobejane, businessman Joe Sibanyoni, and music producer Seunkie Mokubung, popularly known as DJ Vettys, between August 2022 and January 2024.
