This week, on Wednesday, Parliament's Impeachment Committee will be closer to knowing who will lead evidence in the section 89 enquiry into President Cyril Ramaphosas conduct during the Phala Phala debacle.
This is according to Committee Chairperson Magashule Gana, who says its work will continue until a competent court rules that it cannot proceed.
Judgement in Ramaphosa's urgent application to have the work of the committee interdicted is currently reserved, with a ruling only expected by the end of this week.
Meanwhile, the Committee will meet for the third time on Wednesday, to finalise the nomination of the evidence leader.
