Specialist geriatric care could expand to more nursing homes in the north

More nursing homes across northern Singapore could eventually have access to specialist geriatric care, following a successful pilot by Woodlands Hospital. The programme brought such care directly into a nursing home, reducing emergency department visits and unplanned hospital admissions by about a third. Sabrina Ng reports.
