At least 14 people killed, six injured in two separate crashes in Limpopo: MEC Mathye weighs in

Fourteen people have been killed, and six injured in two separate crashes in Limpopo.

The crash happened in the Sekhukhuni district last night. The injured have been taken to hospital.

The provincial Transport Department says that five people were killed on the R555 Stofberg road in a collision involving two vehicles.

In the other incident nine people were killed also in a collision between two vehicle on the Phokwane-Mamphogo road in the Sekhukhune district.

The department says it suspects reckless and negligent driving to be the cause of the crashes.
