Nelson Mandela Day | Lanseria Airport honours Madiba with Career Expo

In celebration of the late president Nelson Mandela's birthday, the Lanseria International Airport gathered about 600 learners for a Mandela Day career expo for future aviators.

Lanseria Airport holds a unique place in history as the airport that received Nelson Mandela upon his release from Robben Island Prison.

The Mandela Day Expo carried one of Madiba's quotes as a theme "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world" with a variety of careers in aviation on display.
