Woza Albert! still asks: where is the saviour?

The iconic stage play Woza Albert! is back at The Market Theatre, coinciding with the theatre's 50th anniversary.

The stage piece co-created by Mbongeni Ngema, Percy Mtwa and Barney Simon is performed by remarkable actors Hamilton Dlamini and Thulani Mtsweni, who joined Hamilton after the passing of Mncedisi Shabangu.

In this play, the actor make you laugh, sit in silence and process the psychological impact of the apartheid regime, and question the yearning of waiting for a saviour.
