Exhibition | Celebrating a decade of Santu Mofokeng's work

The exhibition Rumours /2026, presented by the Standard Bank Art Lab returns to Santu Mofokeng's work with Bloemhof and nearby communities from 1988 to 1994, not to fix the period but to let it speak in a present still shaped by its questions. Co-curated by Lunetta Bartz for the Santu Mofokeng Foundation, the show reactivates three bodies of work from 1994's Rumours / The Bloemhof Portfolio. This showcase marks the Foundation's ten years and gives the public a focused view of work that remains urgent.
