CN rail workers escape wildfire — union calls for more protection

Canadian National Railway says work crew members who escaped a train cab surrounded by flames on Monday near Armstrong, Ont., all got out safely.

The union representing those workers says it's aware how important freight rail is to supply chains but wants safety to be the priority when trains are routed near active wildfires.
