Machakos County students had a rare chance to interact with world-renowned scientists during a science outreach programme hosted at Machakos Girls High School, signaling a growing shift toward gender equity in STEM education.The Centre for Mathematics, Science and Technology Education in Africa (CEMASTEA), in partnership with the African School of Fundamental Physics and Applications (ASP), brought lecturers from the United States, Switzerland, Europe, and Asia to mentor learners in physics and renewable energy.
