Trek4Mandela team will tonight start the summit of the mount Kilimanjaro as part of raising funds for sanitary towels, helping vulnerable girls stay in school. They started their journey on tuesday targeting to reach Uhuru peak on Mandela day on saturday.
This year's Trek4Mandela expedition features a determined group of young South Africans climbing for a cause.
Under the Imbumba Foundation, the initiative continues to expand its reach across the continent.
The regular climbers, Siyabonga Sithole and Bongani Makwaka are positive they meet their target of reaching the peak.
