Parts of southern Ontario are blanketed in thick wildfire smoke, with air quality warnings in place. In northwestern Ontario, dozens of wildfires are burning, forcing many people to evacuate. Courtney Howard, an emergency physician and chair of the Global Climate and Health Alliance, explains how to stay safe from smoke. Ed Struzik, a fellow at the Institute for Energy and Environmental Policy at Queen's University, discusses what the rest of the wildfire season could look like.
