FNB survey highlights retirement emergency preparedness gaps

The 2026 FNB Retirement Insights Survey has found that 29% of retiree respondents are surprised by unexpected emergencies in retirement.

This, as things such as medical costs get much more expensive, while little or last-minute retirement planning was done.

This was revealed at a media briefing in Johannesburg.
