Iran-US tensions escalate across the Gulf

Iran has launched missile and drone attacks against US military facilities in Jordan, Kuwait and Bahrain, saying the strikes were retaliation for American attacks on Iran.

The latest escalation came after the US said it had carried out a new wave of strikes targeting Iranian military sites and hit an oil tanker accused of attempting to break its naval blockade.
