Kyiv reshuffle protest: Defense Minister Fedorov out, Koretskyi nominated for PM | Morning Report

- RUSSIAN ATTACK ON KYIV
On Wednesday night, Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Kyiv, according to the Ukrainian Air Force. Two people were killed in the strike. In a post on social media, the city’s mayor Vitali Klitschko said that a 16-year-old boy was among those killed, adding that 6 residents of the capital had also been wounded.

- GOVERNMENT RESHUFFLE UNDERWAY IN UKRAINE
A major government reshuffle is underway in Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has nominated Serhii Koretskyi to become the country's next prime minister. Lawmakers are expected to vote on the nomination later today. Koretskyi currently heads Ukraine's largest oil and gas company.

- UKRAINE TARGETS ENGELS AIRBASE
Ukraine launched a major overnight drone attack on Russia's Saratov region, targeting the Engels airbase, one of the Kremlin's main bases for long-range strategic bombers. Those aircraft have been repeatedly used to launch missile strikes against targets across Ukraine.
